| Course description | This course is designed for people interested in actively managing their own investments. It will give you an understanding of the complex world of finance, its myths, the potential risks and rewards in all investing, and the way in which economic and political events drive the financial markets. Classes include a weekly review of world events, hands on trading experience with a free demonstration account based on currency markets (Forex), and group discussion of progress made with these accounts. Students work at their own pace and level, learning from practical exercises and resource materials provided. The demonstration account builds basic knowledge and skills that are transferable to other markets. It requires no money and students are never pressured to trade with real money. The course does not provide personal investment advice |
