Don Just

Tutoring in: Introduction to Criminal Law
Don is a criminal lawyer with many years of experience as a barrister in the Victorian courts. He is a graduate of the University of Melbourne and entered the law profession in 1973 as a barrister at the Victorian Bar, coming to specialise in criminal law. He appeared in court for both defence and prosecution in a wide variety of criminal cases, including many trials and appeals.
He was a senior tutor in Law at Monash University (1980-82), a permanent crown prosecutor between 1987 to 1997, and otherwise was in private practice.  He often provided written advice and submissions on criminal law issues.
He is now de facto retired. Other interests include AFL and soccer; art, ballet, music and opera; French, bridge and computing; theatre and cinema; history, literature, philosophy and history; gardening, and travel.
